As a parent of young children, I lived through a couple of lead
safety recalls and ditched out some of the toys I bought for my
children. Just when I thought that it was all over, Health
Canada announced that there were health risks associated with BPA in
baby bottles.
In looking for toy safety information, I felt that it was very difficult to
get the information I needed. CPSC had great information, but I felt that
the mountains of information was not easily accessible. My experience with
Health Canada was that the information is there if you knew where to find it,
but unless you knew where to search and what to search for, it was very
difficult to find a summary of recalls.
With this site, I tried to compile recall information from various resources,
and to make this information as easily searchable as possible. We offer this site free of charge. We
hope you find value from using this site.

Please consult with the relevant consumer safety organizations in you area/country as well as the manufacturers, retailers and distributors of the toys. And even if there is no recall for a given toy or product, it does not guarantee that it is safe - be vigilant at all times.
